70 Lb Premium Cast Iron Kettlebell

Like all of the Kettlebells I've ordered from KB USA, these last two (53 lb and 70 lb) are of great quality. I see that there is a slight difference in color and cast iron texture from the first ones I've bought (53 lb, 70 lb, 80 lb, 88 lb, 97 lb, 106 lb). Probably, due to costs and production variance. But, this by no means detracts from the Kettlebell's function and quality whatsoever! I am 100% satisfied as this things are practicably indestructible and have so many functions. In fact, right now after this email, I'm going to do my snatch workout right now with the 62 lb...believe it or not, after about a year of getting used to all of them. I decided to really test myself. First, was to get 5,000 snatches with the 53 lb in one month, but that was too easy. So, it quickly changed to get over 50,000 snatches with the 62lb in less than 6 months. I started just before Halloween 2010 and will be over 50,000 well before the end or Apr 2011. I'm currently at 12,658 snatches towards the goal of 50,000...of course, I'm ramping up the numbers each month as my conditioning improves. I can't wait to see the results when I hit my goal!

I bought 2 of these and really like them overall. I have not yet bought any competition style bells, but think I might in the future in order to allow for higher reps. My only negative with these is when trying to do renegade rows, one of the bells rolled on me and smashed my finger against the concrete. I wish the base was slightly bigger to help this situation.

Just what I needed! Well I was really hoping you guys would come out with a 44KG kettlebell & it was worth the wait. I have the 40KG Bulldog & the 48KG Beast, but I really needed something in between.

Best 9 Pounder I have seen. Bought this for my wife, she loves the handle. We boufght some from Wal-Mart and they were terrible, in fact, the handles had "Burs" that actually cut my wifes hands, they are now paper weights. And to add insult to injury, the kettlebells from Wal-Mart were MORE money!!

I bought a pair to keep one in each hand to work out with symmetry. I can vary the resistance by hanging the bells down (less resistance) or by holding them in a fixed position (more resistance). I hold them during deep knee bends and arm motions, which also challenges my hand grip strength. The light weight (18 pounds) allows me lots of repetitions.
