Detailed review

I'll try and give a review that is factually useful to potential buyers...I've used probably 30 different brands of kettlebells, I won't waste your time naming them. What I have learned over 25+ years of kettlebells is what matters beyond inconsequential things like finish, coating, gravity casting and all the rest is how the kettlebell "hangs" on your skeletal structure. The fit. If you don't get this right, nothing will work for you. I'm not a big person, I'm average for a male. I can say all of the other "hyped" brands were unsuitable, specifically due to my point above. The window height is everything. 99% of kettlebells out there, regardless of brand, don't get this one detail right. The ever so slightly taller window on these bells makes all the difference. It is a perfect fit on my skeletal structure. I've only used one other bell in 25 years that "fit". It was an old Apollo with a rubber base and a crappy cast. It was cheap, ugly and poorly made but it "fit" perfect like this bell. They don't make the old Apollos anymore. Buy for "fit" and fit alone. Don't get hung up on handle thickness it's all BS. If you want a strong grip, use the right tool. Do dead hangs for time. After you master that do them 1 handed. A difference if a few mm in the thickness of your kettlebell handle will not do anything remotely beneficial to improve your grip. Use the right tool for the job. If you're going to use kettlebells for kettlebell movements, this is the right tool. Consider your purpose, whatever you're doing

Great kettlebell

I purchased a 20kg metrixx elite. Prior to this I bought a 16kg bell off of amazon. The finish and balance on the metrixx are WAY better. I thought my hands needed to build more callouses in order to do cleans and snatches but it was just the finish on the cheap one hurting my hands. In fact, the balance along w the finish on the 20kg metrixx makes it feel lighter than the 16kg Amazon one. Highly recommend. Will definitely be buying more.
